Some of the groups we offer are: 

Middle School Groups

Middle and High School Transition Groups ~ for rising 6th and 9th Graders

These co-ed groups will help to ease your child’s transition into a new school and next steps as they grow older and have to face new challenges.

Your child will have the opportunity to process with their peers their feelings about the changes ahead and connect with others in their situation.

Participants will learn coping skills and ways to better manage stress and emotions, determine ways to navigate new peer pressures, discuss changes that are occurring, learn how to build and enhance friendships, and have the opportunity to practice interactions with others to make these difficult years run more smoothly.

Clinicians will work to accommodate summer schedules as needed. 

Middle School Girls Group

Is your daughter expressing upset, sadness or extreme worry?

Is she having difficulty with school or completing homework?

Are you concerned about her interactions with peers?

Do you think she might be depressed or anxious?  

This ongoing group will teach girls in 6th through 8th grades ways to manage their mood, develop tools to cope with stress and give them a safe place to talk about things that might be standing in the way of their happiness or success.    

In this group, your child will learn about: Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) and how to apply it to your life Mindfulness Strategies, Goal Setting, Improving Self-Esteem Stress Management and Self-Care.

High School Girls Group

Are you feeling overwhelmed or overloaded?

Do you feel like you just can't deal with things?

Are you upset, sad or worried more days than not?

Do you feel like you're the only one who is going through this or you can't talk to anyone about it?

This ongoing group will teach Teen girls ages 15-17 ways to manage their mood, develop tools to cope with stress and give them a safe place to talk about things that might be standing in the way of their happiness or success.  

In this group, your child will learn about: Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT) and how to apply it to your life Mindfulness Strategies, Goal Setting, Improving Self-Esteem Stress Management and Self-Care

High School Social Anxiety Group - CO-ED

Do you have trouble building or sustaining relationships?

Do you feel overwhelmed in social situations?

This ongoing group will be focused on many aspects of growing up which people often find most challenging.

We will discuss topics including:

Building positive relationships with family, friends and peers, communication in challenging and everyday situations, building self-esteem, improving social skills in groups and individually, how to handle being bullied and a variety of other topics.

This group will teach mindfulness strategies, CBT skills, coping techniques and other techniques to help manage social interactions and communication.

“Surviving Senioritis” - High School Senior Group

Are you a college-bound High School Senior who is sooooo ready to graduate?

Are you feeling like you’re not quite ready to head off to college?

This group will give you the chance to talk through your concerns/frustrations with others that are going to college & help you learn to survive senior year & your first year away!

This group will focus on topics such as:

Performing through low motivation, mood and stress management, managing college applications, deciding where to go, saying goodbyes, scheduling, and planning, living with a roommate, staying safe on campus, keeping healthy habits, managing social pressures and knowing when and how to ask for help or support.

Groups for Adults:

Managing your Changing Relationship with your Teen

Are you having trouble navigating how to engage with your teenager? (Let's face it, most parents are!) 

Meet weekly with other parents of teens to gain guidance, support and skills to foster a better relationship with your children.

Learn to adapt to your changing role as a parent as your teen grows and matures into adulthood.

CBT for Singles 

Are you a single woman in your 30's looking to find love but struggling to do so?

This group will help teach you Cognitive Behavioral Therapy skills to help get you out of your head and be more present when dating. You'll be able to connect with others who are in a similar situation in a non-judgmental environment.
